Our Mission

Vision Statement

The “Partnership Carson City” anti-meth coalition is a community-wide effort to stop methamphetamine manufacturing, distribution and use in Carson City. Community and business leaders are connecting with law enforcement, local organizations, civic clubs, schools, businesses, churches and local, state and federal governments to reduce crime and improve the quality of life in all neighborhoods. Carson City will no longer be recognized as a “meth” traffic hub in northern Nevada, and will be a place where people are able to raise their children, live and work in crime-free settings.

Mission Statement

To prevent the devastating effects of methamphetamine in our neighborhoods through a grass-roots community-wide mobilization effort.

Goal Statement

  • Create and implement a multi-faceted community awareness campaign about methamphetamine and its effects on the community, including economic impact, environmental impact and societal impact.
  • Educate community organizations, neighborhood associations, schools, families, local governments, businesses, churches, and other specific groups, to what they can do to recognize, prevent and combat methamphetamine use.
  • Guide public policy to support law enforcement, criminal justice and treatment systems, and increase accountability by offenders to stop the incidence of methamphetamine in the community.
  • Assess community needs for treatment and rehabilitation systems, and determine how to best support them.
  • Strengthen the relationships between the community and its enforcement agencies to report violations and support laws and ordinances to eliminate the methamphetamine use and related criminal behavior.
